Gather and prepare ingredients.

  • 3 – tbsp – onions – diced

  • 1 – tbsp – olive oil

  • 1 – tbsp – celery – diced

  • 1 – tbsp – carrot – diced

  • 2 – whole – garlic clove – finely crushed 

  • 14 – oz can – tomato (basil, garlic, oregano)

  • 10.75 – oz – Hunt’s Puree Tomato

  • 1/4 – tsp – fresh sage

  • 1/2 – tsp – fresh rosemary

  • 1/2 – tsp – fresh oregano

  • 6 – whole – basil leaves – shredded

  • 1/2 – tsp – fresh thyme

Start Cook’n

  • Sauté olive oil, onions, carrots, garlic, and celery until onions are tender.

  • Add Hunt’s tomato puree, green onion, sage, and rosemary.

  • Let simmer for 5 minutes 

  • Add thyme, oregano, and basil

  • Simmer for another 5 minutes
